Rhonda Morris, CHRL (she/her), has over 15 years of experience in human resources and people management. Rhonda is currently working as the VP People at d1g1t Inc. and previously held the same role at Browze, an e-commerce start-up.
Before that, Rhonda served as the Director of People & Culture at Ample Organics, a technology company specializing in compliance for the cannabis industry. Rhonda successfully led the company through a Series B funding round and its subsequent acquisition by Akerna Corp.
Prior to their role at Ample Organics, Rhonda worked as the National Human Resources Manager at UNIQLO Canada, where they oversaw HR activities for over 1200 employees across retail stores and the corporate office. Rhonda was instrumental in staffing new retail stores and adapting HR policies to match Canadian business culture.
Rhonda has also held HR leadership positions at Travel Edge (formerly Worldview Travel), G Adventures, Skyservice Business Aviation Inc., Sporting Life, and Weston Bakeries. Rhonda'sresponsibilities in these roles included developing strategic initiatives, implementing HR programs, and managing recruitment, orientation, and retention activities.
Rhonda's experience spans various industries, including travel, retail, aviation, and automotive. Rhonda is known for their expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, organizational development, and compliance.
Rhonda Morris, CHRL (she/her) has a post-graduate degree in Human Resources Management from Seneca College, which they completed in 1999. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Brock University, which they pursued from 1994 to 1998.
