Mr. Rede has an extensive background and deep knowledge in the Specialty Pharmacy business. Additionally, he provides expertise in building relationships with Pharmaceutical Manufacturer relations, specifically with regards to Limited Distribution Drugs that dominate the Specialty Pharmacy industry.

Prior to joining D2, Mr. Rede had a distinguished career in the Pharmaceutical industry. In his last role as Director of Specialty Pharmacy at Bayer Health Care, Ray led the creation and development of Bayer’s Specialty Pharmacy department, managing over $1B in product sales. He created and managed one of the first LDD programs including a high performing network of Specialty Pharmacies across several products. His team broke ground with Outcomes based contract strategies and multiple relationships industry wide with the goal of improving outcomes for all. The SP team managed the Specialty Pharmacy strategy across brands with new and innovative ideas and methods.

Prior to his entry into the SP market, Mr. Rede managed several Market Access teams, both Regionally and Nationally focused. He has experience with many disease states with many types of products.

Recently, Mr. Rede has focused his efforts on the Hospital IDN space, focused on SP accreditation, Payer access, and Operational excellence. He has worked with several consulting organizations with special projects and the writings of SP White Paper reports.
