Ryo Takahashi

Ryo Takahashi is a Design Director at D4V where he champions the role design plays in enabling great businesses. His goal is to help startups create emotional and seamless user experiences through the power of human-centered design. Ryo is regularly engaged with D4V portfolio companies offering design mentoring, project management, design research, recruiting support, and UI/UX design. Passionate about design education, he often holds lectures and workshops for the startup community. Prior to D4V, he spent several years working at IDEO’s Tokyo and Cambridge offices as an interaction designer, where he designed wearable and medical devices, smart homes, consumer electronics, and smartphone applications. Ryo was born in San Francisco, raised in Osaka, and lived in Europe and Latin America. He studied Digital Media at Hyper Island in Stockholm.
