Ben Thompson

Ben Thompson is an experienced geologist with a robust background in mining and exploration. Currently serving as an Underground Mine Geologist at Ora Banda Mining Ltd since October 2024, Ben has held various roles including Project Geologist at Delta Lithium Limited and Project Exploration Geologist at both Genesis Minerals Limited and Dacian Gold Limited. Previous experience includes working as a Junior Geologist at Randgold Resources Ltd, focusing on exploration projects in the Ivory Coast, and as a Graduate Site Investigation Engineer at Arcadis. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Mining Geology from the University of Exeter and a BSc (Hons) in Geology from the University of Leicester. Proficient in software such as Micromine and ArcGIS, Ben's skills encompass logging, sampling, data analysis, and project management within the mining sector.
