Robert Fouberg

Robert Fouberg has a diverse and extensive work experience in the banking, legal, and policy sectors. Robert currently holds the position of Chairman and CEO at Dacotah Bank, a role they have been serving in since June 2023. Before this, they held the position of President and CEO at the same company from January 2021 to August 2023, and President from January 2020 to December 2020. Prior to their executive roles at Dacotah Bank, Robert worked as the Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Dacotah Banks, Inc. from July 2003 to January 2020.

In addition, Robert worked as Legislative Counsel to US Representative John R. Thune in the US House of Representatives from May 1997 to August 1999. Robert began their career as an Associate Attorney at Bantz, Gosch & Cremer, L.L.C. from September 1995 to May 1997.

Robert Fouberg completed their education with a Diploma from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1992 to 1995. Before attending law school, Robert obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Augustana University (SD) from 1988 to 1992. Robert finished their secondary education at Aberdeen Cental High School, where they received a Diploma in 1988.
