Nuno Kim (H.S.)

Nuno (H.S.) Kim has extensive work experience in the shipbuilding and marine engineering industry. Nuno (H.S.) began their career in 1996 as a Principal Engineer/Naval Architect at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. Ltd., where they were responsible for conceptual and basic design for commercial ships. Nuno (H.S.) also handled basic planning tasks such as stability calculation and general arrangement, as well as project engineering lead duties. From 2013 to 2015, Nuno worked as a Principal Engineer and Technical Representative in Europe at DSME, where they corresponded with clients regarding technical ship aspects and developed networking opportunities. In 2023, they joined Hanwha Ocean as the Head of the Product Strategy Office, focusing on the development of innovative and inimitable commercial ships and offshore energy-related units.

Nuno (H.S.) Kim completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture from Seoul National University, where they studied from 1990 to 1995.
