Torkil Svanes Vatne

Torkil Svanes Vatne has a strong background in software development and web development. Torkil started their career at Canal Digital AS as an IT consultant from 2013 to 2016. Torkil then worked as a web developer for Solid Earth Africa, an organization focused on reducing deforestation through wood-saving households. Torkil joined Alpenglow Development in 2017 as the Managing Director until 2020. During this time, they also served as the Web Manager for NTNUI Turn from 2016 to 2018. Torkil later joined Sopra Steria, where they worked on various projects as a full-stack developer, including assignments for Skatteetaten, Barne-, ungdoms- og familiedirektoratet, and Norad. Torkil demonstrated proficiency in technologies such as React.js, Java, Kotlin, and Azure infrastructure. Torkil is currently working as a Software Developer at Dagens since 2022.

Torkil Svanes Vatne completed their Master's degree in Information Technology from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Informatikk from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2015 and 2018.
