Cong Bin Lim

Cong Bin Lim has a strong background in actuarial roles within the insurance industry. Beginning in 2005, they worked as a Manager at Prudential Assurance Company Singapore for six years. In 2011, they joined Prudential Corporation Asia as a Regional Actuary and held this position until 2012. From 2012 to 2015, Cong Bin Lim worked at Tokio Marine Asia as a Senior Manager. In 2015, they moved to Tokio Marine Insurance Group as an AVP and stayed in this role until 2016. In 2016, Cong Bin Lim joined DLI Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. as a Senior Manager, and in 2018, they became the Appointed Actuary at Dai-ichi Life Insurance (Cambodia) PLC. They held this role until April 2023. Their most recent position is as the Chief Actuary at Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar, starting in October 2022.

Cong Bin Lim attended the University of Waterloo from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a focus on Actuarial Science and Statistics. After completing their undergraduate studies, Cong Bin Lim obtained the Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) certification from the Society of Actuaries in 2008. Later, in 2010, they also became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
