Joyce Valencia

Joyce Valencia serves as the Associate Director and Global R&D Learning Experience Leader at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. since January 2023, focusing on needs assessment and the development of scientific and technical learning solutions. Prior to this, Joyce was the Owner of Magnify Life + Learning from August 2018 to March 2022, where collaboration with executive leaders led to tailored learning solutions that aligned with organizational goals. Joyce's experience also includes roles at Johnson & Johnson Vision, first as Manager of Instructional Design and Learning Management Solutions from April 2016 to June 2018, and previously as Global Manager of Instructional Design and Learning Management Solutions from April 2014 to June 2015, contributing significantly to the development and implementation of training programs. Joyce is currently pursuing a PhD in Training and Performance Improvement from Capella University and holds a Master's degree in Curriculum Design & Technology from American InterContinental University.
