Olivier Rixe has extensive work experience in the field of medicine and clinical research. Olivier is currently serving as the Global Head of Early Clinical Development at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of VP-Early Clinical Development/Strategy at the same company from 2022 to 2023.
Before joining Daiichi Sankyo, Inc., Olivier Rixe founded Quantum Santa Fe in 2019, where they served as the Founder, Director, and Principal Investigator until 2022.
From 2014 to 2019, Olivier Rixe worked at the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center as the Cancer Center Associate Director of Clinical Research/Professor of Medicine.
Olivier also served as the Director of the Experimental Therapeutics Program and Professor of Medicine at both the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University from 2012 to 2014 and UC Health from 2009 to 2012.
Prior to their roles in the United States, Olivier Rixe worked as a Staff Clinician at the National Cancer Institute from 2008 to 2009.
Olivier'scareer began at Pierre and Marie Curie University in 2001, where they held the position of Professor of Medicine/Medical Oncology until 2008.
Olivier Rixe obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology from Université Paris Cité in 2003. Prior to that, they completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at Pierre and Marie Curie University in 1993.
