Samir Patel is an experienced professional in quality assurance and process excellence within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Associate Director of GMP QA Process Excellence at Daiichi Sankyo US since April 2022, Samir previously held multiple roles at Akorn, Inc., including Quality Assurance Manager overseeing investigations and CAPA, and Sr. QA Investigation Specialist. Samir's extensive background also includes a significant tenure at Pharmedium Amerisource Bergen, where responsibilities included managing operations investigations and serving as the change control champion for the implementation of a Quality Management System. Samir began their career as a pharmacist with roles at Drug Fair and CVS Caremark Corporation after earning a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
