Sandy Hamelsky

Sandy Hamelsky, PhD, MPH, currently serves as Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs at Daiichi Sankyo, a position held since November 2011 after progressing from Director of Regulatory Affairs. Prior experience includes roles at Novartis Consumer Health as Clinical Research Head for the Pain Category and Associate Medical Director for Analgesics from October 2006 to November 2011, as well as serving as Medical Director for Analgesics at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 1995 to 2006. Sandy obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Epidemiology from Rutgers University and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the same institution. Undergraduate studies were completed at Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts in History.
