Shameer Vellayil

Shameer Vellayil is an experienced professional in data management and analytics, currently serving as Director of Data Management and Analytics for Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. since February 2017, after advancing from the role of Associate Director within the same department. Prior to this, Shameer held various positions at Celgene from July 2010 to February 2017, including Sr Manager in Analytics and Process Excellence, as well as roles in Safety Information Management and Drug Safety Analysis. Shameer began the career at Aris Global, where roles included Product Manager and Product Specialist, following an initial graduate trainee position at National Aerospace Laboratories. Shameer holds a Master’s degree in Information Engineering and Technology (MIET).
