Shannon Coveney

Shannon Coveney has extensive experience in clinical research and study management, currently serving as a Clinical Study Manager at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. since June 2019, following a role as Senior Clinical Study Associate. Prior to this, Shannon worked at PRA Health Sciences as an In-House CRA-2/Senior Clinical Trial Assistant supporting Bayer Inc., and at MedStar Health as a Clinical Research Coordinator II for a longitudinal clinical trial funded by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, overseeing data collection and analysis for over 4,000 patient records. Earlier experience includes positions as a Clinical Research Assistant at University of Maryland Medical Center, coordinating over 15 clinical trials in Neurosurgery and Neurology, and as a Research Assistant at University of Maryland and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
