Shiv Krishnan

Shiv Krishnan has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Shiv is currently serving as the VP of Alliance Management for Global Business Development at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. Prior to this, they held positions such as Head of External Innovation in Biologics R&D at Lonza and Head of Business Development & Licensing for Technology Platforms at Sanofi. Shiv has also worked as a Senior Director at Sanofi, where they focused on scouting and partnering for innovative opportunities. Before that, they held various senior roles at sanofi-aventis and Aventis Pharmaceuticals, where they were involved in alliance management, external networks, and technology transfer. Shiv also has experience in protein biochemistry and worked as a Scientific Assistant at Pasteur Mérieux Connaught and a Protein Biochemist at Transgène S.A. Additionally, they served as a Post Doc at Beaujon Hospital. Overall, Shiv Krishnan has significant expertise in alliance management, business development, licensing, scouting, and partnering in the pharmaceutical industry.

Shiv Krishnan obtained a bachelor's degree in Zoology from American College, Madurai, India in 1982. Shiv then earned a Ph.D in biotechnology from Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) during the period of 1982 to 1987.
