Thomas Malieckal has over 20 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, they are the Vice President and Head of Global Medical Capabilities at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. Thomas began their career at Pfizer as a Manager in Medical Information, and also has experience at NPS Pharmaceuticals and Eli Lilly and Company. Thomas obtained their education at Rutgers University, where they earned a degree from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy.

Thomas Malieckal has a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Rutgers University, which they obtained between 1996 and 2001. Thomas also holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Shenandoah University, which they completed from 2003 to 2005. In addition, they have a Certified Medical Publications Professional (CMPP) qualification from the International Society for Medical Publications Professionals, which they obtained in 2011.
