Paolo Polacco is a Design Engineer at Daikin Applied Europe since December 2021, focusing on the development of units utilizing natural refrigerants to align with new EU standards and enhance the environmental sustainability of the HVAC sector. Previously, Paolo served as a Test & Design Engineer in the R&D thermodynamics department, contributing to the development of the R32 air-cooled scroll chiller and heat pump with inverter technology. Earlier experience includes working as a Mechanical Engineer at Tifeo srl, where responsibilities involved simulating and optimizing a novel thermodynamic cycle for tri-generation, and as a Field Service Coordinator at CGT S.p.A. Paolo holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from NYU Tandon School of Engineering and Sapienza Università di Roma, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma.
