Winnie Mathias

Winnie Mathias is a Research and Development Engineer at Daikin Malaysia Sdn Bhd since December 2021, where responsibilities include planning project activities, resources, and schedules, as well as component selection and supplier liaison. Prior experience includes an internship at Malaysian Sheet Glass Sdn Bhd in both the Manufacturing Improvement and Environmental, Health and Safety Departments, focusing on quality inspection and standard operating procedure preparation. Winnie also held roles as a Sponsorship Executive for the iUM Disrupt Hackathon and the Beyond Engineering Innovation Challenge, successfully securing sponsorships and implementing plans for various grant providers. Event management experience includes serving as Event Management Executive for the Regional Chemical Engineering Undergraduate Conference and Tournament Executive for the Grand Asian Chess Challenge. Winnie holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Malaya, complemented by a matriculation from Kolej Matrikulasi Negeri Sembilan and secondary education from SMK Kepong.
