Michael O'Keeffe is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in criminal justice reporting and investigative journalism. Currently serving as a Criminal Justice Reporter for Newsday Media Group since February 2017, O'Keeffe previously held the position of Reporter/Editor at the New York Daily News from 1998 to the present. Notably, O'Keeffe led efforts to reform New York's statute of limitations on child sexual abuse cases and has contributed significantly to coverage of high-profile steroid scandals, including those involving BALCO, Roger Clemens, Alex Rodriguez, and Lance Armstrong. O'Keeffe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned between 1979 and 1983.
