Peter Sblendorio

Peter Sblendorio is an experienced sports reporter currently working for the New York Daily News since June 2015, where coverage includes the Yankees, Mets, and MLB as well as St. John's men's basketball, the Knicks, and Gotham FC. Prior to this role, Peter served as a Senior Film Writer and Entertainment Reporter, conducting interviews with high-profile celebrities and covering major entertainment events and award shows. Peter's earlier experience includes a position as Senior Sports Reporter for The Daily Texan, where coverage involved Texas Longhorns football, basketball, and baseball. Internships at Fox Sports Southwest, ESPN, and NBC Sports Radio provided a foundation in sports reporting and production. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin.
