Ashish Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Ashish began their career as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Cerner Corporation in 2007. Ashish then worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer, where they worked on Windows 7, 8, and 8.1, focusing on user experience and developer experience. Ashish played a role in architecting and building new resource technology (MRT) for Windows 8 apps, allowing developers to tailor their applications to users' preferences without writing additional code. Ashish also implemented changes in the windows build pipeline to successfully localize applications and operating system binaries across multiple languages and locales. In 2014, Ashish joined Crowdtap as a Senior Software Lead and later transitioned to the role of Senior Product Manager. At Crowdtap, they contributed to product management and software development. Since 2017, Ashish has been working at Dailymotion, initially as a Senior Product Manager, then as Director of Product, and currently as Vice President of Product. In their role at Dailymotion, they built and shipped a global multilingual B2B web and mobile SASS platform from scratch, growing the userbase to over 2 million worldwide cumulative users and over 100,000 monthly active users. Ashish managed a product team and collaborated with executives, business leaders, and stakeholders to define product strategies and agile roadmaps. Ashish's work experience demonstrates their expertise in product management, software development, and user experience.
