Thomas Soczka-Guth

Thomas Soczka-Guth is a seasoned professional in the field of battery technology and chemistry, currently serving as Senior Manager for HV-Battery: Lithium Ion Cell at Daimler Truck AG since September 2021. With over two decades of experience at Daimler AG, where Thomas held the position of Manager for Zellkomponenten, expertise in the prototyping, materials, sensor technology, and design of lithium-ion cells was developed. Prior to joining Daimler, Thomas worked as a Senior Scientist at Hoechst AG. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Chemistry from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and a Diplom in Chemistry from the University of Cologne. Furthermore, research experience was strengthened at the Max-Planck-Institut Polymerforschung.
