Kurt David

Kurt David has extensive experience in the field of database administration and data governance. Kurt began their career at Sabre Group in 1992 and worked as a DBA until 2000. From 2000 to 2008, Kurt served as a DBA at Freightliner. In 2010, they joined Daimler Trucks North America as an IT Architect and Data Architect, where they worked until 2015. During this time, Kurt focused on designing physical infrastructure and improving data governance in the data warehouse. From 2015 to 2021, they held the role of Database Administrator at Daimler Trucks North America, where they collaborated with development teams to enhance their database designs and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. In 2021, Kurt transitioned into the role of Data Literacy and Governance Lead, where they are responsible for improving data literacy and governance across the organization under the guidance of the Chief Data Officer.

Kurt David completed an MBA at Wichita State University in 1990. Kurt also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
