Dnyanda Kulkarni

Dnyanda Kulkarni is a dedicated biomedical engineering student at UNSW, actively engaged in various engineering roles and projects. Currently serving as the Sponsorships Team Lead and Student Engineer for the Mending Broken Hearts project, Dnyanda contributes to the development of a total artificial heart prototype for a global competition. Previous experience includes a Vacation Student role at CSIRO focusing on viral phylogeny estimation, a Student Engineer position at Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute developing a multiomics data visualization tool, and collaboration with Wood on a benchmarking analysis dashboard for energy efficiency. Dnyanda's diverse background also encompasses retail positions at Chemist Warehouse and Daiso, showcasing strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Expected to graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering in Bioinformatics Engineering/Biomedical Engineering in 2026.
