Penny Burnett

Penny Burnett serves as the Vice President of Merchandising at Daiso USA since May 2023, bringing extensive experience in merchandising and product development across various leadership roles. Previously, Penny held the position of Chief Merchandising Officer and Executive Consultant at PGB Consulting from 2019 to July 2023, where strategic guidance in merchandising and inventory management was provided. At Metro Retail Stores Group, Penny functioned as Senior Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer, overseeing a $1B P&L and leading a team of 100+. Additional experience includes senior roles at iMedia Brands, ELIE TAHARI, Centric Brands, Guggenheim Partners, Macy's, and Target, with a strong focus on P&L management, category management, and operational efficiency. Penny holds an MBA in International Finance and Marketing from Thunderbird School of Global Management, along with a BA in Economics and Political Science from Sweet Briar College.
