Matt Nichols

Matt Nichols is an experienced packaging engineer with a diverse background in the food industry. Currently serving as a Packaging Engineer at Daisy Brand since July 2016, Matt has previously held the position of Lead Packaging Engineer at The J.M. Smucker Company from June 2010 to June 2016, overseeing two direct reports and focusing on improving the quality of extrusion blow-molded rigid containers. Earlier experience includes a Senior Packaging Engineer role and an internship as a Packaging Engineer at Hormel Foods, where Matt was involved in new packaging integration and conducting manufacturing line trials. Additionally, an earlier internship at The J.M. Smucker Company provided foundational experience in packaging engineering. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, completed in 2010.
