Emelie Bengtsson

Emelie Bengtsson is an experienced packaging engineer currently working at Swedish Match since May 2018, where responsibilities include leading and participating in packaging and nonwoven material development from concept to implementation, collaborating with both external suppliers and internal stakeholders. Prior to this role, Emelie served as a Laboratory Engineer at SCA - Hygiene and Forest Products Company from June 2015 to April 2018, contributing to global innovation projects and product design verification. Emelie also worked as a Chemist at SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden from November 2013 to June 2015, focusing on catalyst life prediction for the automotive industry. Emelie held the position of Chairman of the Chemical Engineering Section at Chalmers Student Union during 2012, overseeing operations and representing chemical engineering students. Emelie holds a Master’s degree in Material Chemistry and Nanotechnology and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, both from Chalmers University of Technology.
