Darren Tan

Darren Tan is currently an Associate in Fixed Income Institutional Sales at Daiwa Securities Capital Markets, specializing in credit, convertibles, private placements, and primary issues since March 2023. Prior to this role, Darren served as a trainee in Fixed Income Institutional Sales and in FX & Rates Corporate Sales at Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking from May 2022 to March 2023. Earlier experience includes a wealth planning advisory trainee position at Julius Baer, focusing on trust structures and family offices, as well as a research intern role at Shenzhen Stock Exchange, where derivatives research was conducted. Darren holds a BSc in Economics with Finance from The University of Sheffield (2017-2020) and completed a foundation year in Economics at Sheffield International College in 2017, following O Levels at Victoria School in Singapore (2008-2011).
