Daiwa Motor Transportation Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the passenger automobile transportation business. The Company operates in three business segments. The Passenger Automobile Transportation segment is involved in the hired car business, the transportation management and the taxi businesses. The Real Estate segment is engaged in the leasing, purchase and sale, agency, management and cleaning of real estate. The Sales segment sells fuels and raw materials, manufactures and sells metallic products, as well as sells and repairs automobile meters. As of March 31, 2013, the Company had eight consolidated subsidiaries and one associated company.
