Amy B. Armstrong

Amy Armstrong was a founding member of Persimmon Capital Management, which was acquired by Dakota in July 2021. She joins the team as the key point of contact for clients in the Philadelphia office, overseeing client account and transaction inquiries.

Amy is a seasoned veteran of the financial services industry with broad and deep client servicing experience. She is extremely skilled at addressing complex questions and enjoys proactively assisting clients with planning assistance. Amy also interacts on clients’ behalf with custodian firms, money managers, and external hedge funds, as well as accountants and attorneys on a regular basis. Finally, Amy assists the Dakota team with investment monitoring and account trading, including portfolio reviews and requests.

Prior to joining Persimmon in 1998, Amy was a Registered Sales Assistant in the Private Client Group of PaineWebber, Inc., where she supported three brokers in the day-to-day operation of their business. Prior to PaineWebber, she worked for Midlantic Bank, N.A. in the Credit Department. She is a graduate of the University of Scranton with a B.S. in Finance, and in her free time enjoys gardening, yoga, crossword puzzles, and watching classic movies with her husband.
