Leslie Arsenault Metz

As General Counsel, Leslie is responsible for counseling Dakota on legal matters, particularly its mergers and acquisitions. Leslie, a Palm Beach County native, brings a wealth of legal and business experience to this position.

After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in finance and earning her law degree from the University of Florida, Leslie obtained a clerkship with the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida. There she worked closely with judges in both the civil and criminal divisions and was promoted to the head of the civil division’s law clerks.

At the conclusion of her clerkship, Leslie worked for prestigious private law firms focusing her practice on complex commercial litigation. She counseled clients in matters regarding shareholder derivative claims, fraud, business disputes, trade secrets, and breach of fiduciary duty. She helped her clients reduce their liability exposure and achieve positive resolutions.
