Weam Sawi

Weam Sawi is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and environmental management with extensive experience in quality control and supervision within the agricultural and food production sectors. Currently serving as a Health Safety Environment Officer at DAL Food since June 2021, Weam has developed and maintained HSE policies, conducted regular inspections, and assessed risks to enhance workplace safety. Prior experience includes roles as General Supervisor of Quality Sections, Human Resources, and Assistant General Manager at Alsalihya Animal Production, where Weam was responsible for quality documentation and laboratory operations. Earlier career positions involved roles as a secretary and laboratory technician at the National Oil Seed Processing Research Institute, contributing to plant installation. Weam holds an M.Sc. in Biosciences and Biotechnology and a B.Sc. in Food Engineering Technology from the University of Gezira.
