Linda Rhodes, VMD, PhD

Linda Rhodes, VMD, PhD has an extensive work experience in the field of animal health and veterinary sciences. Linda is currently serving as a Director on the Board of Directors at Dalan Animal Health, Inc. and Zoetis Inc. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant for their own business. From 2011 to 2016, they held the positions of Chief Scientific Officer and later Chief Executive Officer at Aratana Therapeutics. Linda also founded and served as the Vice President of Clinical Development at AlcheraBio LLC for seven and a half years, until its acquisition in 2008. Before that, they worked as a Director of Drug Development at Merial, leading projects for new animal health and veterinary drugs. Linda began their career as an Intern at the Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Sciences Department of Utah State University. Throughout their career, Linda has demonstrated expertise in research, clinical development, and business development in the animal health industry.

Linda Rhodes, VMD, PhD, completed their education in the following order:

From 1966 to 1970, they attended Sarah Lawrence College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in mathematics.

From 1974 to 1978, Linda Rhodes studied at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in veterinary medicine and surgery, and obtained a Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree.

Lastly, Linda Rhodes pursued their PhD degree in physiology and immunology at Cornell University, from 1984 to 1988.
