Waleed al Abri

Waleed Al Abri is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as an Electrical Distribution Systems Subject Matter Expert and Principal Electrical Engineer at Daleel Petroleum LLC since October 2015. Waleed has been instrumental in providing electrical support for various projects and operational teams, overseeing the design and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Previously, Waleed held the position of Lead Electrical Engineer for the Y3DC gas compression project at Petroleum Development Oman from September 2011 to January 2015, leading electrical engineering efforts from design to project handover. Earlier roles include serving as an Electrical Construction Engineer, managing the construction and commissioning of electrical substations and distribution systems. Waleed holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Power Systems and Energy, a Master's degree in the same field, and a Bachelor's degree, all from Sultan Qaboos University.
