Ali Nafarieh

Ali Nafarieh, PhD, PEng, currently serves as an Instructor at Dalhousie University since September 2019, contributing to the field of Internetworking Engineering. With a strong entrepreneurial background, Ali Nafarieh co-founded and held leadership roles as CEO at both Hanatech IoT Inc. and Hanatech Inc. from 2013 until early 2024. Prior experience includes academic positions at Dalhousie University from 2006 to 2017, encompassing roles such as Postdoctoral Fellow and Instructor, alongside significant industry experience as Director of Technical Operations at Crouse P.J.S Company and Director of IT at EDBI. Ali Nafarieh holds a PhD and MEng in Internetworking Engineering from Dalhousie University, alongside an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Azad University and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University.
