Jennifer E. Hann

Acting Dean at Dalhousie University

Jennifer E. Hann has extensive experience in higher education and program management, currently serving as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Open Learning & Career Development at Dalhousie University since September 1993. Hann has held multiple leadership positions at the university, including Director of Enrollment, Student Services & Advising, Director of Mature Student Services & University Prep/Pathways Programs, and Division Director of Pathway and Access Programs, overseeing various initiatives aimed at supporting diverse student populations. Previously, Hann worked as Director of Entrepreneurial Development Services and Program Manager of the Self Employment Benefits Program, both in partnership with the Government of Canada. Prior experience includes a role as Project Manager for the Government of Nova Scotia, focusing on educational programming within the Cultural Affairs Division. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Studies degree in Adult and Continuing Education and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in English from Dalhousie University.
