Musfiq Rahman

Musfiq Rahman, Ph.D., is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in computing science. Currently serving as Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Computing Science at Thompson Rivers University since August 2013, Musfiq's expertise includes wireless sensor network security, emerging wireless technologies, and key management protocols. Previous roles include Adjunct Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow at Dalhousie University, where Musfiq contributed to advanced research and teaching. Notable projects include the WISERFID Project focused on RFID security and the PAWS Project that developed a novel key management protocol for wireless sensor networks. Musfiq has co-founded AlfredNFC.com and holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. from Dalhousie University.
