VP, Mobility Management Services at Dallas Area Rapid Transit

Doug Douglas, a DART veteran of over 25 years, directs the Department of Mobility Management Services and chairs the Paratransit and Accessibility Advisory Group to DART.

The department provides service requirements and functions for complementary ADA Paratransit services, including Certification/Eligibility, Service Development, Service Planning, Travel Training, Contract Compliance/Field Operations, and Parkland Hospital Shuttle Service Management. The department is also responsible for the administration of the Fixed Route Reduced Fare Program for Persons with Disabilities and the provision of DART Innovative Services, which includes GoLink and Flex Service Routes; and managing the Mesquite and UTD services.

In addition to the programs listed above, the department is actively engaging in efforts to coordinate transportation with health and human service providers, non-profit organizations, faith-based, medical, and similar agencies, as well as other local or regional transportation providers. The department is also responsible for the implementation and ongoing efforts related to the My Rides North Texas project, which is a website and app identifying transportation resources for Veterans, People with Disabilities and others in the North Central Texas Region.
