Jake Wendler has extensive work experience in the IT field. Jake started their career as a Retail Technology Intern at Hy-Vee, where they updated backend servers and network gear. Jake then moved on to Cerner Corporation, where they worked as a System Engineer and was later promoted to Production Owner. In this role, they managed the Detroit Medical Center's production Cerner system. Currently, Jake is serving as the Chief Information Officer at Dallas County Hospital.
Jake Wendler attended Iowa State University from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Information Systems.

Originally known as the King’s Daughter’s Hospital, Dallas County Hospital was founded in 1954 and is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving patients from Dallas, Greene, Guthrie, and Boone counties. The hospital is governed by a Board of Trustees with seven members elected by the residents of Dallas County. Over the years, Dallas County Hospital has continued to focus on providing the highest quality healthcare to the people we serve through our knowledgeable staff and physicians, up-to-date facility and modern equipment.
