Christine Elliott

Christine Elliott is an experienced educator currently serving as an English Language Arts Teacher at the Dallas Independent School District since August 2018. Previously, Christine was an AmeriCorps Member with Teach For America from June 2018 to May 2020 and with City Year from July 2017 to June 2018. Additional experience includes a role as Program Coordinator at Education Opens Doors, Inc. in June 2019 and an Honors College Writing Assistant at the University of Oklahoma from January 2015 to May 2017. Christine holds a Master of Education (MEd) from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Journalism in Creative Media Production from the University of Oklahoma, where studies took place from 2013 to 2017, along with a study abroad experience at University College Cork in 2015. Christine's educational background also includes attendance at the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics from 2011 to 2013.
