Iván Medina

Iván Medina currently works as a Math and Science Dual Language Teacher for fifth grade at the Dallas Independent School District, where significant achievements include being named the 2022-2023 Dallas ISD Elementary School Teacher of the Year and receiving the Distinguished Teacher designation. With experience spanning various grades and subjects, Medina has demonstrated leadership through initiatives such as co-leading professional development sessions for teachers and establishing enrichment programs for students. Additionally, Medina has engaged in various roles within educational advocacy and policy, including serving as a fellow with Dallas Kids First and Leadership for Educational Equity.
