Kimberley Runnels

Kimberley Runnels possesses extensive experience in education and community engagement, with a career spanning over two decades in various roles within the Dallas Independent School District, including Trainer for the Campus Support Team and Community Liaison. Kimberley has a proven track record of establishing partnerships that promote academic achievement and social-emotional competence among diverse families and communities. Previous roles include leading weight-loss support groups at Weight Watchers, consulting for the Dallas Black Dance Theatre, and facilitating support groups for families in recovery at Rainbow Days, Inc. Kimberley also has experience coordinating programs for at-risk students and mentoring adolescent girls. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Spanish from Prairie View A&M University and further studies at the University of Texas at Tyler and Harvard Graduate School of Education.
