Marvin Dewolfe has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Marvin began their career as a Staff Accountant at Sport Supply Group, where they worked their way up to Supervisor and then Staff Accountant. At Sport Supply Group, they managed the Accounts Receivable team, designed training curriculum, and led a cross-functional team for process improvement. Marvin then moved on to Michaels Stores, Inc. as a Fixed Assets Supervisor, where they reduced overspent projects and streamlined accounting processes. After that, Marvin joined Pasternak Wine Imports, where they held dual roles as a Database Application Developer and Accountant. Marvin developed and managed FileMaker solutions for various company functions and worked with Accounts Payable, expense reports, inventory systems, and more. Currently, Marvin works as a Principal Analyst (Developer) at the Dallas Independent School District.
Marvin Dewolfe completed their education at The University of Texas at Dallas. Marvin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (IT / Management) from 2017 to 2018. Marvin then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology and Management from 2019 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, Marvin also obtained several certifications, including "Introduction to Web APIs" from LinkedIn in February 2020, "FileMaker 16 Platform: Advanced Features" from LinkedIn in December 2019, "HTTP Essential Training" from LinkedIn in November 2019, and "Learning REST APIs" from LinkedIn in March 2019.
