Miriam Gaytan

Miriam Gaytan, M.Ed., has extensive experience in education and leadership within the Dallas Independent School District, serving as Director of Operations and Leadership Cadet Corps Instructor since August 2012. Prior to this role, Miriam worked as a Lang Arts/Reading Middle School Teacher from August 2008 to May 2012 and as a High School English/Literature Teacher from August 1998 to June 2004. Earlier in the career, Miriam served in the United States Marine Corps as an Aviation Administration professional from May 1992 to August 1999. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of North Texas at Dallas (2013-2015) and a Bachelor’s degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of North Texas (1994-1998).
