Tierney Dean possesses a diverse background in education and social work, currently serving as a Teacher for the Dallas Independent School District since August 2022. In this role, Tierney analyzes and develops resources for the Carnegie Learning Pilot program, implements data-driven instructional strategies, and fosters communication with students, parents, and community members. Prior experience includes working as a Child and Adolescent Therapist at Tomorrow and Beyond, PLLC., where Tierney created evidence-based treatment plans and facilitated a teen summer program. Additionally, Tierney interned with the Georgia Public Defender Council, enhancing young clients' soft skills and supporting them through individualized case management. Educational accomplishments include a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work & Criminal Justice from Clark Atlanta University.
