Allison John

Allison John has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Allison started their career in 2007 as an intern at Maryland Art Place and later interned at La Reunion TX in 2008. In 2009, they worked as an Art&Seek Database Coordinator at KERA before moving on to become an Art Gallery Associate at Thornwood Gallery, where they welcomed patrons, curated shows, and handled publicity. Allison also worked as a Visitor Services/Admissions employee at Nasher Sculpture Center, where they sold tickets, provided information to visitors, and created guides. Allison then transitioned to a Sales Associate role at Nasher Sculpture Center before joining Dallas Market Center in 2012. At Dallas Market Center, they held various positions, starting as an Operations Coordinator and working their way up to become the Director of Exhibitor Events & Marketing. Throughout their career, Allison John has gained extensive experience in event planning, operations, marketing, sales, and client services.

Allison John attended Bishop Lynch High School from 2001 to 2005. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at Goucher College from 2005 to 2009. In 2008, they also had the opportunity to study Art History at New York University's Florence campus for a short period of time.
