Karen M Black

Karen M Black, CPA MBA CGMA, currently serves as the Financial Controller at the Dallas Museum of Art, a position held since June 2022. Previously, Karen was the Director of Accounting at The Family Place from July 2014 to April 2022, and held roles such as Accounting Manager at U.S. Anesthesia Partners of Texas and Controller at Paragon Furniture, LP. Karen's career in accounting began as Assistant Controller at The Dwyer Group from 1996 to 2006. Academic credentials include an MBA and MPA in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington and a BS in Psychology from Oklahoma Christian University.
