Dallas Symphony Orchestra
Sara Sasaki is an accomplished violinist with extensive experience in performance and education. Currently serving as a Substitute Violinist for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Oklahoma City Philharmonic, and Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, Sara held the position of Principal Second Violin at the McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra from August 2022 to August 2023. Additionally, Sara has taught Violin, Viola, and Piano at the Lakewood Conservatory of Fine Arts and served as a faculty member for violin and viola at The Dallas School of Music. Past performance roles include Section Violin for the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra and Round Rock Symphony. Sara's management experience includes overseeing the East Central Illinois Youth Orchestra. Educational credentials include an Artist Diploma and a Master of Music in Violin Performance from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from Oberlin College.
