Dallas Symphony Orchestra
Teresa Grynia-Wight is an accomplished violinist and music educator with extensive experience in both performance and instruction. Currently serving as a Course Instructor at RL Turner High School and a Part-time Assistant Librarian at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Teresa is also an active violinist with the Richardson Symphony Orchestra and has held various violinist positions with the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra, Garland Symphony, and Arlington Symphony from 2018 to 2023. Upcoming responsibilities include a Librarian role at the Aspen Music Festival and School in 2024. Teresa's educational background includes a Performer’s Diploma in Violin Performance from Southern Methodist University and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, among other degrees in music. Skills encompass event scheduling, data management, logistics, and effective communication.
