André Moreira

André Moreira has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research. André started their career at Simoldes in 2019 as an R&D Engineer, where they focused on developing a decision support and control framework for task allocation in CNC machines. André also analyzed the company's task planning methods and centralized data obtained from the CNC machines.

In 2021, André joined INESC Technology and Science - Associate Laboratory as a Research Scholar. During their time there, they worked on redesigning planning systems for small quantities, utilizing tools such as AMPL, Python, and Excel. André also developed two interconnected planning systems that aided strategic planning through a lot sizing optimization system.

Currently, André is working at Daloop as a Trainee Software Engineer for IoT Solutions. André'sresponsibilities include rewriting and adapting Java code to ensure compatibility with new Oracle databases.
